im sure most of use have come accross those air injector products in the market that claims can increase hp, save fuel etc...
ok...here's what i think... last time, when i was new to this engine n stuffs, i did buy one and was able to use this product for 3-5 months or so... at first, i was really amazed after it was first installed... i "feel"
1. the engine revs better
2. can easily reach top speed
3. idle better...
4. brake much better also...
but although it sounds too good to be true, all this feeling soon fades away when i got to test it out with another standard kenari, a friend of mine... no difference at all.....why oh why....since then, my trust in this injector was broken...all those great improvement, was it for real?? or was it just a psychological effect??? or simply, my friends car is also using the same air injector?? hehehe
anyway, to those who wishes to try it out for themselves, here's some DIY which u can try... maybe it'll work for you.... cos after i did some post-mortem on the air injector i bought with some other expensive product like those air compressor bla bla...all of em uses the same concept...only its physical look are different.....they all inject more air into the vacumm line or throttle body..this will increase the vacumm state, which will theoritically makes ur engine behaves as if the car is under heavy load, thus more power is needed to move the car...
so why spend hundreds of dollars when u can have the same system as those expensives air injectors?? all u need is just some T-joints, fish tank valves, sponge for filtering etc.. the rest is up to ur imagination...total cos should be around rm15-20 max only... the bigger u open the valves, the better the effect is (theoritically...)
follow this diagram and u should be fine... afterwards, tell us ur feedback for others to judge...
GOOD LUCK!!
